This ode to birth mothers captured the joy and heartbreak of Mother’s Day—the joy of being a mother, and the sadness of my boy’s loss and others who have lost mothers, mothers who have lost children, and those who desperately want to be mothers. Love and peace to all on this special day.

RE: New Feelings About Adoption as a Teen

I’m glad that this mom was able to link the change in her teen’s behavior to a recent event in their family. I really liked the script that Regina Kupecky provided, as well. My kids are still young, but this is a good reminder that they will understand and react differently to adoption over time. Thank you.
